Laureate of the 2019 PL Music Video Awards, he has worked with clients such as National Geographic, Red Bull, Allegro, Carrefour, Ballantine's and Philips. His videos are often at the intersection of documentary authenticity and graphic flair. He is eager to incorporate technical elements like 3D, animation, AI and glitch-art while further maintaining a human sensibility.
In synthesis he perceives the power of the director’s creativity, that’s why he connects various fields. He has worked as a designer at the advertising agency VMLY&R and as a freelance editor. His directing style is influenced by his experience in creating expressive music videos and fashion films, combined with a keen eye for authentic storytelling from his documentary work. Alek is fascinated by technology and AI, but also by writing emotional stories. In each project, he weaves different, often contrasting elements into a cohesive and resonant story. He thrives on learning new things, performing tasks diligently, co-creating in a group, and collaborating in a good atmosphere.
